At Cercam Casa we collect as little data as possible: only what we need to run the search, send the newsletter and show advertising, which will only be personalised if you allow us.

Who is responsible

What data we process

In addition to the advertising data explained below, we only process your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter, plus technical data such as the IP address the server logs for security. We do not create user accounts or ask for any other data.

When you accept personalisation, Google and its partners may collect browser identifiers, approximate IP address, device data and information about the pages you visit to show personalised ads, measure their effectiveness and prevent fraud.

If you do not accept it, Google still receives the technical data needed to deliver the ad, such as the IP address, and may use invalid-traffic detection storage, but not the data to personalise the ad.

Purpose and legal basis

Your email address is used only to send you the newsletter with new homes and price drops, on the legal basis of your express consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Technical data is used to protect the service and detect abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.

Personalisation cookies are only set with your explicit consent, which you can give, refuse or withdraw at any time. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Invalid-traffic detection storage is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service against fraud (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Audience measurement (analytics)

We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to learn in aggregate how many visits each page receives and where they come from. GoatCounter uses no cookies, stores no persistent identifier in your browser and performs no cross-site tracking.

Statistics are collected without a consent cookie, because no personally identifying data is stored: neither your profile nor your browsing is recorded at any time. If you wish, you can read GoatCounter's privacy policy on its official website.

Google advertising

To fund the service we show Google AdSense ads. If you do not give permission, Google receives the non-personalised ads signal and, in the European Economic Area, serves them in limited-ads mode: it does not use your data to personalise them, only the technical data needed to deliver the ad, such as the IP address, and, where applicable, storage used solely to detect fraud. If you give permission, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show personalised ads, limit frequency, measure their effectiveness and prevent fraud.

When Google processes data outside the European Economic Area, it relies on the safeguards it offers, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Who we share it with

The newsletter is sent through Listmonk and the hosting service we use. We do not sell your data or hand it to third parties for purposes other than those described in this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, at which point we delete it. Technical logs are kept for a maximum of thirty days.

The cookie that stores your choice is kept for one year. Google's personalisation cookies are kept for the period Google specifies, usually between one month and two years. Invalid-traffic detection storage is kept for the period Google specifies.

What your rights are

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing. Write to us and we will respond. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

You can withdraw personalisation consent at any time. Open the cookie settings again and switch off advertising cookies or choose “Reject non-essential”. Ads will still appear, but they will not be personalised. Cookie settings .

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies and fraud-detection storage may be used without consent because they make the site work and protect it; personalisation and measurement cookies are only enabled with your permission.

GoatCounter, the analytics tool, sets no cookies.

In addition to cookies, we store the IDs of the properties you have opened in your browser (IndexedDB), to mark them as seen. This information is not sent to the server and is not used for tracking.
